Close to our heart: Afridunga

Once again at Christmas, we want to do some good. We have been looking for charitable projects that could use our support. We found them - not only in Ortenau, but also in Indonesia and Africa.

The term “Afridunga” comes from the words Africa and Bildunga, the Old High German term for design, mould, sculpt, produce or create. What is meant here is the concept of education in the broader or original sense..

The organisation promotes charitable projects in Africa, which are initiated and supervised by local professionals. At the same time, Afridunga supports mutual tolerance, better international understanding and a friendly relationship between Africa and Europe.
