Help for the animal shelter Lahr

The animal shelter in Lahr takes care of an average of 120 animals - be it dogs, cats, rodents or wild animals. Every support is welcome!

The animal protection association Lahr and surroundings e.V. was founded on 19 December 1938.

An animal shelter lives from the contact between humans and animals or humans and humans. The direct contact is important for placements or volunteers and donors. Despite the pandemic, the influx of animals in need continues unabated. In 2019, the shelter had 708 guests in need of help. At the end of October 2020, there were already over 670 charges again.
