THERMOTEX continues to grow: The expansion in plant 2 will create an additional 1,200 sqm of work space. In addition to large, bright production areas, modern offices will be created.
In 2018 THERMOTEX celebrate its 30th anniversary. In that time, the team in Schutterwald has grown to 140 employees.
With the acquisition of a former furniture store in Schutterwald with an area of around 2300 square metres, the managing directors continue to expand the company. A large part of this consists of production and storage areas, and office space is also being built as the capacity in the main building has been exhausted.
THERMOTEX writes 25 years of successful company history. Thanks to the optimisation of processes and restructuring in the area of HR, the company is aligning itself for the next ten years and equipping itself for the market. The company DNA has already been passed on by Helmut Czichon to his daughter Julia. She has been working alongside her father since 2013.
2008 and expansion is taking place again: A new administration building, as well as a warehouse, is built. The company has around 95 employees, the number of products is growing steadily.
At the beginning of the 2000 THERMOTEX is the first supplier of thermal transfer printed, laundry-resistant labels.
THERMOTEX Europe AG is founded in 2004 – since then the company has been the market leader in Switzerland. THERMOTEX cooperates worldwide with distribution partners in nearly 50 countries – for example in Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Russia.
In 2003, Plant 1 gets a new building with an additional 750 square metres of space.
Five years later and THERMOTEX has already grown to 35 employees. Likewise, the product portfolio is growing at an incredible pace – customers include not only hospitals, laundries and nursing homes, but also textile companies and the garment industry.
1993 the company moves to Schutterwald. THERMOTEX now has its own workshop and for the entrepreneurs one thing is clear: we have to offer everything from one source.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Helmut Czichon conquers East Germany. The customer base is growing fast, as too are the demands made on THERMOTEX. Individual solutions must be created – and more space. The small cellar workshop in Ortenberg has been bursting at the seams for a long time.
Wolfgang Nagel Senior and his son Dietmar agree that there is still room for improvement in the branch in terms of collection and marking. The two of them found the company in Ortenberg in a small basement workshop in Elgersweier. A short time later, Dietmar Nagel‘s brother-in-law Helmut Czichon, who is already working as a manager in a laundry, joins the company.
